Description
Boat part number 8700509 is a new plastic MGS revolving waterlock muffler from Vetus, part number MGS6546A . Commonly used on Marquis Yachts, part number 9600219 . May be used on other boats.
Constructed out of marine grade synthetic materials to avoid corrosion or galvanic action, with AISI316 stainless steel clamp bands. Outlet connection will rotate 360° and the inlet is pointed 45° upwards. Provided with a drain valve for winter storage. Features excellent sound reduction qualities and minimal back pressure, used in wet exhaust systems, per manufacturer.
Measures 15 1/4" W x 27 1/2" H x 23" D overall per manufacturer. We measured the base from corner to corner to be approximately 14 3/4" long x 14 3/4" wide. Features (2) openings labeled IN and OUT, measuring 6" outer diameter per manufacturer. Features (4) approximately 3/8" mounting holes spaced 12 3/8" apart along the base.
