This item is a package deal containing both B&W photos of JOHN WAYNE on the night he was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason, a 2-sided color copy of his original signed petition and an Associate Membership in "The Duke's" Lodge.
The first photo in this package is an 11x14" black and white photo of JOHN WAYNE in the East on the night he was raised with the officers who participated in the Degree.  This photo is professionally processed on professional photo stock.
The names of the group participants is included so you can frame your photo as it appears on my office wall, which was professionally framed with the names of all the participants in the photo (see attached photo).
The second photo in this package is an 8x10" black and white photo of JOHN WAYNE at the Altar receiving his King James Masonic Bible from the Chaplain on the night he was raised.  This photo is also professionally processed on professional photo stock.
The third item in the package is a
copy
of John Wayne's signed Masonic petition. It is a 2-sided color copy on 11"x17" 24# heavy stock and looks beautiful when framed.  This copy is professionally produced by the same photo specialist who did the photos.
The original of John Wayne's Petition was signed by Brother John on June 1, 1970 and approved by the Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of Arizona on June 24, 1970.

John Wayne petitioned and became a member of Marion McDaniel Lodge #56 in Tucson, AZ and was Initiated an EA Mason Thursday, July 9, 1970; Passed to Degree of Fellowcraft Friday, July 10, 1970; and Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason Saturday, July 11, 1970.
When filming a movie at the Old Tucson Movie Location, he heard that there was a Masonic Lodge in town with "Marion" in its name. Having a desire to be a Freemason, it is said that Brother John, whose real name was Marion Michael Morrison, mentioned that Marion McDaniel
HAD
to be the Masonic Lodge he joined (because of the name of the Lodge)!
