Beaut Illus 1952 Club Francais Du Vin Sales Booklet, Sample Meritage 1945 Label

The booklet from Club Francais Du Vin for 1952-1953 offers a selection of wines, with vintages from 1937 to 1950. Opposite each of the pages with lists of sine for sale are beautiful illustrations by Roland Nicolle (each of these is shown). The front cover also has one of his illustrations. An order blank is found at the back of the 16 page booklet. A smaller booklet is also included, giving the details about the Club. In addition (see last scan), there is a sample label, made by the Club, for Hermitage 1945. The Club lists an Hermitage 1945 (Tain-l"Hermitage Corse) at 340 francs per bottle. Condition: the 4 5/8" X 7 3/8" 1952-53 booklet has a band of toning across the top border of the front and back covers; the top corner tips of the booklet have minor bumps. The smaller booklet (4 1/4" X 6 3/8") booklet is in very good condition, as is the 3 1/8" X 4 5/8" label, which is tipped onto a slightly large piece of paper, which was attached to a response card at one time.
